GORE® Safety Fabrics: A Variety of Safety Barriers to Protect Workers

This feature from Industrial Hygiene News goes over the four different GORE® Chemical Splash Fabrics that Lac-Mac uses in our industrial chemical splash resistant apparel. These include: a red polyester fabric for non-flammable hazardous liquid chemicals, a high-visibility orange fabric for non-flammable hazardous liquid chemicals where high visibility is needed, a royal blue fabric for flammable hazardous liquid chemicals, and a navy fabric for flammable, high-temperature liquid exposure, and hazardous liquid chemicals.

The feature also talks about how Lac-Mac uses GORE® TENARA® sewing thread and GORE-SEAM® tape to ensure all our chemical splash garments are fully sealed against threats while also being breathable and protecting workers against heat exhaustion.
