Established in 1920, Lac-Mac has consistently led the way in innovation across multiple market sectors. Our unwavering commitment to safeguard employees in the most demanding work environments leads us to constantly improve our products. We utilize the latest in PPE technology to keep our products current to meet the most stringent standards ensuring protection against newly identified hazards.

It started with two entrepreneurs over 100 years ago, since then Lac-Mac has grown into one of the most innovative and sustainability-minded renowned manufacturers of safety garments supplied globally.

In 1920, Tom and Everett Lacey and John S. MacCloud founded Lac-Mac to manufacture uniforms and capes for nurses and nursing schools in Canada. Over the ensuing decades, we’ve evolved to specialize in what we do best, which is manufacturing high-performance protective garments made using various technical barrier fabrics, entering new markets with a focus on innovation to make our PPE safer for workers.

In our unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and sustainability, Lac-Mac proudly maintains full in-house manufacturing operations in North America, sourcing our textiles from North America and Europe. With over 40 years of trusted partnerships with W.L. Gore for technical fabrics to support our R.MOR PROTECTIVE WEAR™ brand, and our German partner providing our performance barrier fabrics under our exclusive R.MOR.Tex® brand, we exemplify excellence in manufacturing liquid-proof, breathable PPE. Committed to progress, Lac-Mac remains at the forefront of innovation, ceaselessly exploring avenues to enhance safety and environmental sustainability of personal protective wear.
